Jorge Tellaeche began his artistic career at the age of 15 with an exhibition at the Sony Art Walk in San Diego, California. Later, he entered art school in Luxembourg. Upon returning to Mexico, he studied Graphic Design in Tijuana and opened an advertising agency where he was the Creative Art Director. At the same time, he developed his pictorial work and exhibits his work in various galleries. Later, he collaborated with the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD) and at the same time directed the experimental curatorial collective Adapta Project. In 2009 he returned to Mexico City, his hometown. Since then he has exhibited in various galleries around the Mexican capital and also in his showroom, Animals. He has had collaborated with international brands such as Mont Blanc, Adidas, Comex, Durex, Hotel W, Delirio, I Love Wok, El Palacio de Hierro, Domino's Pizza and for the All City Canvas and Roma Condesa Cultural Corridor projects. Social responsibility has been an important part of Jorge's work for several years now. He has collaborated and donated works for organizations of different social causes such as No Sombrero, Arte Vivo, Oso Fredo, Fundación Rebecca de Alba and the Va Por Mi Cuenta movement that seeks to end child malnutrition in Mexico.
